Jaxsoaps Moonlight & Kentucky Rain bar is made with collected Kentucky Rain in honor of our move from California to Kentucky almost 10 years ago. The fragrance is soft and powdery and it seems to attract many followers along with the creamy goats milk lather. I have yet to hear of anyone that says they don't love it!

Essential oils are also considered and used for the specific healing or nurturing qualities believed to be inherent in them.

Glycerin is a natural byproduct of the saponification process and remains in all Jaxxsoaps. You will not find this to be true of many commercially prepared products. There are no petroleum products in anything Jaxsoaps that touched your skin!

The flowers of lavender are fragrant in nature and have been used for making potpourri for centuries. Traditionally, lavender essential oil has also been used in making perfumes. This is a wonderful butter made of three of the most healing, moisturizing ingredients you can immerse your skin in. Whipped Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Shea Butter, and Organic Cocoa Butter are the only ingredients in this soothing butter. There are no fragrances added to this as the natural odors of these ingredients are soothing enough. I will add fragrance in the form of high quality essential oils upon request and for an additional $5. to $7. depending on the Essential Oil requested. Remember when requesting Essential Oils that the basic butter has a natural chocolaty fragrance all it's own that will mingle with the E.O.s added.

I like to use this after my shower, before towel drying and any time during the day. This can be used on your face, hands and body and I have found the brown spots on my hands and face are diminishing. You can also add a Tablespoon of this to your bathwater or baby's bathwater as it can form a protective layer on the skin that seals in moisture and acts as a barrier against harsh external toxins. There can be no claims that this will happen for you, of course, but the inherent qualities of the ingredients will speak for themselves.

Shea butter is a skin superfood that comes from the seeds of the fruit of the Shea (Karite) tree and that is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. It offers UV protection (it is SPF ~6) and provides the skin with essential fatty acids and the nutrients necessary for collagen production. Shea butter has been used in Africa and other countries for years to improve skin and hair.

Moisturizing:
The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in Shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for skin. It is often used to remedy dry skin and to help protect the skin’s natural oils.

Reduces Inflammation:
A 2010 study found that due to its cinnamic acid and other natural properties, shea butter was anti-inflammatory.
