The hardest part about making the change is changing the way you think about hair care! These bars are long-lasting bundles of concentrated shampoo that will do the job of several bottles of liquid shampoo (and in many cases, replace your conditioner too). They’re packed full of effective ingredients and essential oils, so you can lather, rinse and repeat for gorgeous hair every time.

When I used the shampoo bar for the first time, it was hard to wrap my head around the idea of a solid bar of soap to wash my hair. But the results spoke for themselves! I was able to replace my liquid shampoo and conditioner with just one bar!* These bars don’t strip all of the good oils out of your hair, only excess oil, for a soft, clean shine.

I even use these little gems on my color treated hair (and I should note, I generally dye in red tones, which are one of the hardest to retain). My hairdresser is amazed at how well they work, and has even taken up to using these shampoo bars themselves! If I could only give you one piece of advice if you color your hair, it would be this: The secret to maintaining your color longer is to wash your hair in the coolest temperature water you can tolerate. It helps keep the hair follicles closed so the color doesn’t escape as quickly.

My husband and I share a bar; he washes his hair daily, I wash my hair 2-3 time a week. Each bar lasts us 8-12 weeks. Make sure it can properly drain (dry) in between uses by setting it on a soap dish.

*Note: There are some people with certain hair types who will still require a conditioner. But don’t fret, we have that too!

Have you ever turned around your shampoo bottle and tried to read the mile long list of ingredients? I have, and it is nearly impossible. The Valencia Orange Shampoo Bar is a simple natural alternative that smells of sweet, crisp oranges. Almond oil is a great moisturizing oil added to this bar. Simply massage the wet bar along your damp hair and shampoo like normal. This shampoo bar creates a dense bubble filled lather.

Body/Hair oil is an all purpose, luxury oil blend to restore moisture to skin and hair. Good for beards, too! With coconut oil, grape seed oil, sunflower oil, argan oil, castor oil, and jojoba oil your skin and hair will be happy!

Use as you would a lotion all over your body. A little bit goes a long way.

For hair, put a tiny bit in palms, rub hands together, and distribute through hair, ends first. Same for beards.

Add a squeeze to a bath for a luxurious soak!

External use only. Avoid prolonged sun exposure after use. Oil will make surfaces slick. Do not apply to bottoms of feet.

The “Apply Topically” Rosemary Lavender Conditioner bar, works great. It has no liquid so very little is needed. Just rub against your wet head and work in. By the time your shower or bath is over, you can rinse it out. Hair feels smooth and silky. Again this is great for every day use. I use my bar shampoo and conditioner daily. But, especially great for travel. No worries about leaking liquids in your suitcase or concerns about the 3 oz limit per TSA. Eco-friendly with no plastics to discard. Ingredients include BTMS 50 (from canola oil, it works as a detangler), cetyl alcohol (from vegetable oils,works as moisturizer), shea butter (also excellent moisturizer), cetrimonium chloride (anti static component),panthenol (derived from rice, works as another moisturizer), hydrolyzed silk (non animal protein which provides moisture retention), germall plus (preservative, necessary to prevent bacterial and fungal contamination) and essential oils of rosemary and lavender.One regular bar will last as long as a much bigger shampoo bar.
