Natural Hair Care
The hardest part about making the change is changing the way you think about hair care! These bars are long-lasting bundles of concentrated shampoo that will do the job of several bottles of liquid shampoo (and in many cases, replace your conditioner too). They’re packed full of effective ingredients and essential oils, so you can lather, rinse and repeat for gorgeous hair every time.
When I used the shampoo bar for the first time, it was hard to wrap my head around the idea of a solid bar of soap to wash my hair. But the results spoke for themselves! I was able to replace my liquid shampoo and conditioner with just one bar!* These bars don’t strip all of the good oils out of your hair, only excess oil, for a soft, clean shine.
I even use these little gems on my color treated hair (and I should note, I generally dye in red tones, which are one of the hardest to retain). My hairdresser is amazed at how well they work, and has even taken up to using these shampoo bars themselves! If I could only give you one piece of advice if you color your hair, it would be this: The secret to maintaining your color longer is to wash your hair in the coolest temperature water you can tolerate. It helps keep the hair follicles closed so the color doesn’t escape as quickly.
My husband and I share a bar; he washes his hair daily, I wash my hair 2-3 time a week. Each bar lasts us 8-12 weeks. Make sure it can properly drain (dry) in between uses by setting it on a soap dish.
*Note: There are some people with certain hair types who will still require a conditioner. But don’t fret, we have that too!
Why do we call this The Original? Because our Hair Cream is the Holy Grail of our flagship hair care line, our First Creation.
Our hair cream is made with Shea butter, Olive oil and Castor oil for nourishing hair and scalp. Jojoba oil makes a wonderful skin moisturizer because of its absorption properties that are a close match to our skins own sebum.
Have you ever turned around your shampoo bottle and tried to read the mile long list of ingredients? I have, and it is nearly impossible. This new shampoo bar is the same recipe as our popular Valencia Orange Shampoo Bar with added essential oils to help with dry itchy scalp. Simply massage the wet bar along your damp hair and shampoo like normal. This shampoo bar creates a dense bubble filled lather.
Our Nourishing Scalp Serum + follicle cleanser contains 13 uncommon herbs, proteins + actives, 5 quality oils + butters including Jamaican Black Castor, Ashwagandha + Moringa oils and an essential oil blend used to treat alopecia. Can be used as beard oil.
Cowpeas is a protein-enriched anti-oxidant containing almost all essential vitamins + minerals including vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C, folic acid, iron, potassium, magnesium, calcium, selenium, sodium, zinc, copper + phosphorus; ights hair loss + helps facilitate hair growth.
Raw Peruvian Maca Root is the most recently discovered ‘super-food’ containing a host of vitamins, amino acids, phytonutrients, minerals, + phytohormones, that is said to bring back lost hair. Compounds found in the plant aid in production of the epithelial sheath cells, the bulb surrounding new hair, which in turn promotes hair growth and provides protection against outside stress.
Flax Seeds are rich in Omega 3, flax seeds can help stop hair loss + may encourage hair growth.
Moringa Seed Oil called the “miracle tree” because it is packed with vitamins, minerals + essential nutrients; moisturizes the scalp, helps fight split ends + dandruff, strengthens hair + helps reduce hair loss.
Colostrum 6 the organic colostrum we use from bovine cows is collected within 6 hours of birth, contain growth factors that promote skin-cell production + tissue repair and is said to help stop hair loss + encourage healthy strong hair.
Royal Jelly, secreted from the worker bees’ salivary glands, contains sterols, glycosides, fatty acids, minerals, vitamins and a large amount of proteins, is the food for larvae which will develop into queen bees. Helping to reduce hair loss, royal jelly is said to be moisturizing, help for dandruff, unblocking hair follicles, improving hair thickness, against radicals (anti-oxidation effects) + scalp rejuvenation.
Kombucha Vinegar contains good bacteria to help cleanse + strengthen the scalp.
Bee Pollen includes approximately 25 percent complete protein containing at least 18 amino acids, more than 12 vitamins, 28 minerals, 11 enzymes + co-enzymes, 14 beneficial fatty acids, and 11 carbohydrates. These ingredients are what make bee pollen the ultimate source of hair nourishment.
Coriander has many anti-bacterial properties and promotes hair growth + reduces hair fall.

Beard oil is used to nourish the skin under the beard, as well as the beard itself in order to keep it “soft, shiny, and smooth”. Beard oil mimics the natural oils produced by skin, such as sebum, and is composed mainly of carrier oils and essential oils.

Body/Hair oil is an all purpose, luxury oil blend to restore moisture to skin and hair. Good for beards, too! With coconut oil, grape seed oil, sunflower oil, argan oil, castor oil, and jojoba oil your skin and hair will be happy!

Use as you would a lotion all over your body. A little bit goes a long way.
For hair, put a tiny bit in palms, rub hands together, and distribute through hair, ends first. Same for beards.
Add a squeeze to a bath for a luxurious soak!
External use only. Avoid prolonged sun exposure after use. Oil will make surfaces slick. Do not apply to bottoms of feet.

Bamboo + Diatomaceous Earth is a pH balanced, silica-rich deep conditioner for hair. Silica, also known as Silicon Dioxide, is the most important trace mineral for human health, helps to prevent baldness, stimulates scalp for healthier hair, creates an environment for hair growth + assures its beautiful shine, luster + strength. Silica is a major component of hair. Bamboo + Diatomaceous Earth contain ingredients high in silica. Silica strengthens the hair, making it less brittle + helps prevent split ends.
The scalp + hair loving ingredients in Bamboo + Diatomaceous Earth makes for an excellent deep conditioner or for co-washing. It’s also been proven to be an excellent leave-in conditioner . . . just use 1 part conditioner to 3 to 4 parts ionized acid water. The leave-in conditions should be thin enough to spray on.
Bamboo has a high level of natural silica, is antibacterial; the mineral silicon is extracted from the leaves + stems of bamboo which has positive effects in maintenance of the ductile properties of hair cells + carrying away dead skin + unwanted agents.
Diatomaceous Earth “DE” is 84% Silicon Dioxide (Silica), the most important trace mineral for human health; contains collagen, helps with scalp problems; revitalizes hair + supports hair growth; keeps scalp clean + healthy by killing the fungal causing germs that inhabits the scalp. Diatomaceous Earth helps in blood circulation in the hair bulb, keeps hair hydrated by retaining the natural moisture of the hair. Since silica is building blocks of the hair, Diatomaceous Earth is necessary in creating new hair.
Zinc PCA is the leading contributor to having healthy scalp + hair by naturally controlling production of sebum which helps prevent hair loss, oily scalp + hair and dry hair; helps eliminate dandruff + helps reduce scalp odor by killing bacteria that grows on the scalp; and may have anti-aging effects on the scalp + skin.
Amla Fruit is a natural scalp astringent; helps to prevent infections; exfoliates; eliminates excess hair oil; stimulates hair follicles which helps promote hair growth; nourishes + strengthens hair roots.
Ionized Acid Water also known as beauty water, is pH balanced, has smaller micro-clusters to penetrate + hydrate hair, its oxidation power helps cleanse hair, leaving it detangled + shiny.

Directions: after washing hair (with one of our shampoo bars) massage our concentrated deep conditioner into scalp + hair. Wet hair, as needed. Cover with plastic cap for at least 30 minutes then rinse thoroughly. Style as usual. To use as a co-wash, apply to wet hair, comb through with fingers, cover with plastic cap for at least 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Brewed with Certified Organic Green Tea, our Shampoo is great for hair regrowth, dry, frizzy, or broken/damaged, lifeless hair, or for those who have a very sensitive scalp.
