Soothe is one of four unscented soaps available from Botany Barn. This soap is made from all organic oils and butters, as well as organically grown carrots and flowers. It features a triple threat of calendula – first we infuse the olive oil with dried calendula petals for at least 3 weeks, we also use calendula infused water for the water portion of the soap, and finally add finely ground petals to the soap, and petals on top. This soap is amazing for sensitive skin, and features only the natural colors from the carrots and calendula infused oil and water. It features carrot puree as a main ingredient, which is very high in vitamin A and nourishing to the skin as well as micro ground oats.

Shea Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa) has been reported to have high concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins. Making it an ideal cosmetic ingredient for skin moisturizing. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Using shea butter on your body, especially your face, specific skin conditions, toning, and soothing your skin.
Ucuuba Butter (Virola surinamens) is said to have anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Ideal for treating acne, dry or irritated skin. Exceptionally rich in Lauric, Myristic and Palmitic Acids, Ucuuba Butter can assist in the maintenance of healthy skin and hair.

We took our Beer O Soap to a higher level by starting out with local STL craft brewer 4 Hands’ Cast Iron Oatmeal Brown Ale as a base for our blend of 7 plant based oils and butters then we add in a breakfast sized helping of steel cut Oats and finish it off with a dash of Organic Vanilla.
