Our soaps are made using lye, where each batch is tested for pH level and is always within 9.0-9.5. Our soaps are not drying but they do leave your hands very clean. For most of our soap fragrances we do offer a goat milk lotion to match and our fragrances are always phthalate free.
This listing is for one bar of Honey, Oatmeal, & Milk soap using a fragrance oil of honey, oatmeal, & milk and we also add real honey and steel rolled oats. Our soaps are made with goat milk only, no water, so our natural milk smell is already present. This is a customer favorite and our top selling soap, very hard to keep in stock.

Black Swamp Soap products are created by Emilee Roach of Waterville, Ohio. The name “Black Swamp Soap” is derived from the area of Northwest Ohio in which Emilee lives. It was once called the Great Black Swamp and was a vast wetland fed by glaciers.
She specializes in artisan, scratch-made bar soap, linen spritz, all natural hard lotion and lip balm. Her passion for creativity and high quality ingredients led her to develop an olive oil bar soap recipe that is both gentle and luxurious. Black Swamp Soap is founded on the idea that self care luxury is affordable and should be part of everyone’s daily routine. She continues to create new scents and products on a seasonal basis.

We make our soap in small batches. Extra love and care is taken when we hand-pipe and decorate each individual bar with our unique technique using cold process whipped soap.

We also add goat milk because it is amazing for keeping your skin feeling great long after you have washed your hands. Yes, it takes extra steps and a considerable amount of time to make it the way we do, but we’re not interested in taking shortcuts. We cure our soaps 4-6 weeks because it creates a hard, longer lasting bar… because we know you work hard for your money and you deserve to get more than you expected. Our soaps are palm free and handcrafted in small batches. Dried plant material and spices are used as a natural colorant in several of our bar varieties. All soap bars are cured for a minimum of 30 days so they are cleansing and gentle on your skin.
