What is a Syndet Shampoo and a Regular Shampoo Bar and which is right for you?
Syndet shampoo bars are made from synthetic surfactants. These surfactants are made from oils, fats or petroleum products that are processed in some way other than saponification with which soap is made. These synthetic surfactants make syndet shampoo bars the mildest personal cleansing bars. Dove®, which was launched in 1955, was the first syndet bar produced. Syndets have advantages over regular soap/shampoo such as having a very low pH. Syndets are recommended for cleansing sensitive skin as well as baby skin since they are far more gentle and skin-friendly than traditional shampoo. Our syndet shampoo bars DO NOT contain SLS/SLES (sodium laurel sulfate / sodium laureth sulfate) or other harmful chemicals. SLS/SLES can cause dry, itchy and irritated scalp and can dry out your hair, as well as contribute to hair loss.
Regular Shampoo Bars
Regular shampoo bars are actually made with the same process as all other bar soaps with the exception of using infused herbs and special oils for your specific hair type. Did you know they were commonly used before our traditional shampoo and conditions were invented (around the time of WWII)?
No matter which one of our shampoo or syndet bars you choose, both formulas will help with increased volume, faster growing hair, reduced dandruff, shinier hair and less frizz. If you have curly hair, most people say that they have more defined curls with better control. Our shampoo and syndet bars are good for all hair types and hair lengths. Both are safe for color treated/bleached hair.

My soap is handcrafted with luxurious oils and butter that are cleansing and moisturizing to the skin that comes from nature. This soap is silky and creamy which will leave your skin soft and happy feeling to your skin. Enriched with coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and kaolin clay that provides softness and a creamy feel lather.
Everything in the Eden studio In Alabama is wrapped and labeled with love and care. I have fun creating and designing my soaps.
Make sure you keep your soap in a dry and well-ventilated area when you are not using the soap. If you think the soap is too big cut it in half for a smaller size. All of our soaps are cured for 4-6 weeks to ensure a stable bar. For a longer-lasting bar.
