This hot-process soap includes Orange Ginger fragrance oil from Essential Depot. The butters and oils are also from Essential Depot. The small-batch loaf will be featured at my first upcoming vendor fair - Dec 1 at the Delaware Contemporary Art Museum.

Clary sage essential oil, lavender essential oil, and French green clay  make this soap 100% natural.  It also has a sprinkling of activated charcoal.

This 4.5 oz bar is made with olive oil, distilled water, coconut oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, castor oil, sodium hydroxide, clary sage essential oil, lavender essential oil, French green clay, titanium dioxide, and activated charcoal

Pamper yourself the healthy way, relax and clean your face at the same time. Really easy to use.

Instructions for use:

Cleanse Skin. Smooth onto face and neck.  Leave on skin for 15-30 minutes.

To remove: Splash water over the face. Give a gentle massage with your fingertips,  scrubbing in circular motion until the clay is completely re-hydrated. Rinse off. Pat dry with a face towel. Do not use any soap or cleanser after or to remove it.

When using, try not to let the clay mask dry fully.

Why?

Clay masks go through three phases:

1- Damp phase: Your skin drinks in the beneficial minerals from the outside.

2 -the start of the dry phase: Exercises your capillaries and stimulates blood flow as the mask cools and contracts.

3 - Dry phase: Draws out moisture from the surface of your skin, causing dehydration and irritation. And with this, the skin not only feels dry, tight, and sometimes itchy, but when you counteract it by slathering on extra face cream, you're just smothering your freshly cleansed skin!
