This description is for the “makers” out there. There are no fancy oils, butters or additives in this bar. I live in the humid south and find that using a higher % of sustainably harvested palm oil makes a decent, solid bar. My fragrance is an EO/FO combination.

We add essential oils of citronella, tea tree, lavender, lemongrass, and more to help keep the bugs at bay. Arnica has been used by Native American herbalists for millennia. Arnica contains sesquiterpenes, flavonoids, tannins, volatile oils, resins and bitters.
Peppermint has been used from ancient times by the Egyptians, Chinese, Japanese, Greeks and Romans. Peppermint’s volatile oils, including menthol are both cooling and warming.
We create an infusion using arnica flowers in almond oil over many weeks. Beeswax, coconut oil, avocado oil and peppermint essential oil are then incorporated to round out the preparation, creating our favorite salve to promote healthy muscle balance.
