When I first started making soaps, I focused in on M&P. I was scared to make more than that, lye was an intimidating product. I finally became brave enough to tackle hot process, a short time later, cold process. However, practice makes perfect, and the only way to really learn was to do it over and over again. With the amazing deals for lye here, I had the ability to buy enough to be wasteful so I could make batch after batch until I finally became good enough to make it worth the money I had invested, and now, all I want to do is make soap.

Old Factory’s Goats Milk Soap Line- Goats Milk Soap is known for its nourishing qualities and its rich, full lather. The goats milk we use is purchased locally from a small farm, fresh, raw, and completely pure. Along side other local ingredients either bartered, grown, wild-crafted, or purchased right here in the Texas Hill Country, this line of soap is meant to “feed the skin.” Goats milk is full of vitamins which help repair and restore. It provides soothing, anti-aging, moisturizing and inflammatory qualities. The milk contains protein which kills acne causing bacteria and minerals such as selenium which prevent cancerous skin cells from developing, and exfoliating alpha hydroxy acids that keep the skin young looking. Each bar also contains its own unique blend of essential oils.
