It acquired its beautiful color from alkanet root and its refreshingly sweet scent from spearmint essential oil. We use locally sourced ingredients as often as possible but we also support fair trade and sustainable agriculture. For example our palm oil is certified sustainable and our African unrefined Shea Butter is certified organic and produced at a women's cooperative in Ghana. We also use phthalate free fragrance oils.
