liquid coconut oil for soap making??

Hello, I just bought 3 gallons of the liquid coconut oil. It was delivered this past Saturday.  I bought the coconut oil specifically for making soap.  Is this product good for soap making? Usually I buy the coconut oil in a box and melt it for making soap.  I need the coconut oil to harden as part of the soap process. Will this liquid coconut oil work for soap making and will it have the same effect on the soap as when I use the hard coconut oil and then melt it?
