Does the temperature of my activated lye water mixture influence how my product turns out?

I make cold process soap. I typically try to make my soap after my lye has activated in my water and cooled down a bit.

My question is, does the temperature of my lye water mixture influence any characteristics in my finished product? Would an increase in temperature speed up the saponification process or would this be a negligible difference?
