Soapers who are bringing their 500 bars of soap from the January challenge will have their bars counted, weighed and inventoried.
5:00pm – 8:00pm Meet and Greet
Participants will gather at the Wine Soap Bar for drinks and dinner, special announcements, supply pickup and introduction to new products. Shopping time at the Wine Soap Bar, and transportation back to the Marriott Residence Inn.
SATURDAY, March 28th

10:00am – 11:00am “Florida Cosmetic Regulations – Florida Drug and Cosmetic Act”, Presented by Kimberlee Ann Nagel, Attorney.
11:00am – 11:15am Break
11:15am – 12:15pm Bath Bombs – Hands On Demo presented by Brandy McClurg
12:15pm – 2:00pm Lunch (offsite)
2:00pm – 3:00pm “The Balancing Act, Part II” presented by Dr. Kevin Dunn. Continuing Dr. Dunn’s presentation, testing lye with a precision scale.
3:00pm – 3:15pm Break
3:15pm – 4:00pm “Demystifying Lye Calculators” presented by Catherine McGinnis. Learning to work with online lye calculators.
4:00pm – 5:15pm “Soleseife Soap” presented by Catherine McGinnis. Hands on activity creating traditional ancient German brine soap.

11:00am – 12:00pm “Can Soapmaking be a Profitable Business”, presented by Paul Clough, C.P.A.
12:00pm – 1:30pm Lunch (onsite)
1:30pm – 2:15pm Follow up Questions with Kimberlee Ann Nagel, Derek Hodges, Catherine McGinnis and Paul Clough.
